Dr Liz is originally from the United Kingdom, qualifying in the year 2000, though she has been in New Zealand for over 20 years now. She joined the Humanimals team in late 2025. Professionally, Liz enjoys all things cat related, especially medicine- an area in which she has completed extra study. During her years as a veterinarian, Liz became captivated by the unique personalities of feline patients and the complexities of their health issues and treatments. She is passionate about cat friendly practice and educating others on the benefits of understanding cats better. Outside of work, Liz enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, which includes her super senior cat Suzie, and her young and mischievous Bengal cross Kora.
